SCHEME-1: COMMERCIAL LAYER FARMING SCHEME
Objectives Production of one crore eggs per day in five year Creating employment in rural areas.
Increasing agriculture production with poultry manure.
Cost of Project- For one Unit of Commercial Layers unit of 30000 birds INR 180.00 lac
Bank Loan = 70% INR 126.00 lac
Margin Money = 30% INR 54.00 lac
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE COMMERCIAL LAYER FARMING SCHEME ·
30000 Commercial Layer Birds shall be considered as one unit.
Entrepreneur may establish more than one unit.
Establishment of 123 lac commercial layer in next five years.
Eligibility ·
No domicile restriction. ·
Scheme is open for every one residing in India or abroad. ·
NRI's and entrepreneurs from other countries are also eligible. ·
Individual/partnership/groups/companies are also eligible. ·
Any body applying for the establishment of units must have land in his name.
No of Units one can opt:- · There is no upper limit for number of units , any body can opt for any number of units. ·
The total number of birds at a farm must be in multiple of one unit. · There is no need of establishing one unit far from second or third unit.
SCHEME-2: BROILER PARENT FARMING SCHEME
Objectives:
For making broiler farming more profitable and organised and making state self sufficient in broiler chicks production.
Creating employment in rural areas. Increasing agriculture production with poultry manure.
Cost of Project-
For one Unit of Broiler Parent Unit of 10000 birds INR 206.50 lac
Bank Loan = 70% INR 145.00 lac
Margin Money = 30% INR 61.50lac
